*I Am the FRO* was inspired from a picture that I saw of a woman with a beautiful Afro that complimented her style. However, once I completed the shape of the head and hair my spirit told me to stop there. There is no need for the details of the face since it is all about the confidence we exude when our hair is just right, but what happens on those days that it is not? *I Am the Fro* challenges you to go beyond just your outer appearance to find that confidence your mane gives you even on the bad days! Painted in January 2019.
