*Evolution of a Canvas*

*EVOLUTION of a CANVAS* is the end result of a multiple painting journey on this one canvas. It started out as an abstract painting of a window view that I labeled "Just Playing" but, after a few days I really just did not like the end result so I started over. That resulted in what I labeled "Eruption", but for some reason I just did not like that either so I started over once again and ended up with the final result: "EVOLUTION of a CANVAS". I thought about naming it something else but after a few weeks of marinating on a name I just could not think of anything other than what I thought of it as, an evolution; a design that evolved from one thing to another. It is painted on 16 x 20-inch canvas that is stretched over a wood frame with all four sides painted to match the colors in the painting itself.
